Get ready: a mouthwatering festival of American-style craft burgers—served at tempting discounts—has arrived.

The U.S. Meat Export Federation announced that the 10th American Burger Week will run June 1–21, 2026. The promotion teams up with brands that craft authentic burgers using premium U.S. beef patties and pork bacon, offering special menu items at reduced prices.

Since debuting in 2017, the festival has become a staple of Korea’s craft-burger scene. Over the past decade roughly 150 brands and 430 locations have participated. To mark the 10th anniversary, organizers expanded this year’s edition to its largest scale yet—around 100 stores representing 45 craft-burger brands nationwide.

Notable entrants include Zesty Saloon, winner of the 2026 Korean Burger Championship, and Melting Soul, which placed third in the burger category at the 2024 World Food Championships. Long-time favorites and exciting newcomers alike broaden the choices for hungry consumers.

Across the three-week event, customers can enjoy each brand’s featured Burger Week menu at a 20% discount—whether dining in, picking up, or ordering delivery. Orders placed through the delivery app Yogiyo get an extra 5% off, bringing total savings to as much as 25%.

In-store customers who order the event menu will receive a limited-edition 10th-anniversary sticker and, while supplies last, a Yonsei soy milk made from sustainably sourced U.S. soybeans.

The festival also offers interactive collaborations. In partnership with the running app Runday, organizers are launching the American Burger Run Challenge.

Participants who complete weekly missions earn a digital sticker to design their own virtual American burger. Organizers will also award discount coupons for participating brands via lottery.

Runners who use GPS to map burger- or patty-shaped routes and post proof on Instagram can win meal vouchers worth up to 100,000 KRW (about $75). Additional prize giveaways include hashtag-photo contests on the event’s official Instagram account.

Fans have responded eagerly. Some make it a mission to visit every participating brand during the event. Many create “Burger World Cup” posts—rating each stop and naming a favorite—and share them on social media. For craft-burger lovers, American Burger Week has become an annual must.

Park Jun-il, head of the U.S. Meat Export Federation’s Korea office, said, “We will continue hosting events like this so more people can experience the quality and value of craft burgers made with U.S. meat.”
