United Daily News quoted Taiwan’s military as saying the Javelins were used to strike enemy landing infantry and armored targets at sea and to provide cover for armored units advancing onto a beachhead.In the later phase, M60A3 tanks and CM21 armored vehicles were committed to the beachhead to simulate repelling an attempted landing.
