| SEOUL — AXA General Insurance announced on January 10 that its AXA Direct Auto Insurance now offers temporary driver coverage, emergency roadside assistance, 16 types of maintenance coupons, and winter vehicle care services.
The temporary driver coverage allows policyholders to extend their insurance to additional drivers, including spouses·family members·siblings·or a designated individual. This feature is particularly useful during holiday seasons when shared driving is common. Coverage can be set for 1 to 30 days, and accidents involving authorized third-party drivers are also covered within policy limits.
To promote preventive maintenance, AXA offers auto insurance customers 16 types of maintenance coupons. These include bi-annual discounts on engine oil checks and changes, 30% off air conditioner and heater filter replacements, and 10% off labor costs.
The coupon package also features practical discounts such as 50% off wipers for domestic vehicles·and 30% off for imported cars. Customers can access these coupons through AXA’s website or mobile app and redeem them at Speedmate locations nationwide, excluding vehicles over 1.3 tons.
Until January 28, AXA is running a winter vehicle care service, helping customers check crucial cold-weather maintenance items like tire pressure and wear·battery condition·and various fluid levels.
For unexpected breakdowns, AXA’s emergency roadside assistance covers seven key services, including towing·battery jump-starts·and tire puncture repairs.
An AXA spokesperson emphasized the importance of pre-trip vehicle checks and clear driver designations for holiday travel safety. “Our goal is to provide peace of mind for our customers during the Lunar New Year holiday through AXA Direct Auto Insurance’s specialized coverage and services,” the representative stated.
