On the 16th, Lee posted a video to her YouTube channel titled “Lee Soo-kyung Mercedes accident story… ‘They sent me to the hospital’ — I realized I must take care of my own car. Revealing self-inspection tips.”
In the video, she introduced two vehicles: an imported car and a compact city car.
“I haven’t had this little cutie for long. I got it in a heartbreaking way,” she said of the new car. She added that her previous vehicle had been seriously damaged, with the entire front end injured.
The car shown in the video had severe frontal damage. Lee compared it to having “had a facelift” and estimated the repairs would take about two months. She said the car ended up staying at the repair shop for more than two months.
She explained why she didn’t rent a replacement: “Renting was more expensive than I expected. And if I rented and had another accident, I couldn’t handle it.” She was also told the repair shop couldn’t say when her car would be ready, so she needed to make other plans.
Describing the incident, Lee said, “There’s a flower bed at the entrance to our parking lot, and there was a dog without a leash. Dogs can cause sudden situations. While I was watching that, my car veered toward a pillar.” She noted the wall was unharmed, but her car suffered moderate to serious damage.
