On the 12th, TV CHOSUN will premiere Miss Trot 4 Talk Concert. The show’s TOP10 — the contestants who helped spark an unprecedented trot craze across South Korea — are mounting a guerrilla busking event to thank fans for their overwhelming support during the competition. Rather than a contest stage, the special performance takes place at Sokcho’s traditional market, where the members will meet fans with equal parts excitement and nerves.
When they first learned about the pop-up busking, members worried aloud: \”What if people don’t recognize us?\” and \”What if they don’t know who I am?\” Those concerns proved unnecessary. As soon as they arrived, fans who recognized them crowded around and the market quickly grew lively.
Ahead of the set, the members walked through the market to promote the event. During that walk, Seon Heo Chan-mi drew attention by launching into an impromptu rendition of \”Binaerineun Gomoryeong\” at a fan’s request. Even unprepared, her steady vocals instantly lifted the atmosphere and earned audible admiration.
The area around the stage soon filled to capacity, and an unexpected romantic moment unfolded: a male fan publicly declared his affection for Yumi, saying, \”I’ve been a fan since middle school. I even came today listening to Yumi’s songs—maybe it was fate.\” Yumi replied with a bold line that sent the crowd buzzing, leaving everyone curious about what she said to make the fan’s heart skip a beat.
The TOP10 will fill the market with trot energy, performing group numbers, solo stages and fan-requested songs. Up close and personal with their audience, the performers aim to deliver an intimate, emotional experience that viewers can look forward to.
