The corporation reported that this charitable initiative benefited four local children’s centers: Dangdong Great Light, Galilee, Dream House, and Love Dream Center. Each facility received 150 kg (about 331 lbs) of rice.

This donation is part of an ongoing collaboration between the corporation and NH Nonghyup Bank, which provides rice to underprivileged communities during major Korean holidays like the Lunar New Year and Chuseok. This year’s donation was made possible through a social contribution fund voluntarily established by the corporation’s employees.

In a statement, President Bae Jae-guk expressed, “We hope this modest contribution will make a difference for local children during the Lunar New Year celebrations.” He further emphasized, “Our commitment to community engagement and fulfilling our social responsibilities as a public enterprise will continue to be a priority.”
