[Korea Financial News reporter Shin Hye-ju] Parata Air (CEO Yun Cheol-min) and Yuhan University have established an aviation training center to bolster flight safety and cultivate the next generation of aviation professionals.

Parata Air said on March 30 that it held the aerospace center’s opening ceremony with Yuhan University on March 27 and has begun full operations.

The aviation training center spans roughly 292 pyeong (about 10,396 sq ft) across two buildings and three floors. The facility was designed to replicate actual cabin crew work environments. The center features type-specific cabin mock-ups, an emergency security equipment training room, a fire‑suppression training room, and emergency evacuation slides.

Crew members can systematically train on safety procedures and service duties in environments that closely resemble real aircraft cabins. Parata Air tailored the training scenarios to the A330 and A320 aircraft types it operates.

Parata Air intends to evolve the facility into an industry‑academic collaboration platform for preparing future aviation professionals, rather than treating it as a basic training space.

The company said it will support Yuhan University’s Department of Aviation Services so students can train in field‑like conditions, helping to strengthen the competitiveness of South Korea’s aviation industry.

Yun Cheol-min, CEO of Parata Air, said the completion of the aviation training center represents more than a simple capital investment; it demonstrates the company’s resolve and capability to proactively secure safe flight operations. “This center will play a key role in translating Parata Air’s commitment to safe operations and its distinctive, service‑driven approach into practice,” he said.
