[Sports Today reporter Kang Tae-gu] FC Seoul stunned Jeju SK with a stoppage-time winner to claim a second straight victory.
Seoul defeated Jeju 2-1 on the road in Round 3 of the 2026 Hana Bank K League 1 at Jeju World Cup Stadium on March 15.
The win pushed Seoul to two straight victories and six points. Jeju now has one draw and two losses (1 point) through three matches.
Jeju controlled the early stages. Shots from Jang Min-gyu and Negeba tested Seoul’s back line but neither effort found the target.
Seoul had a chance to take the lead late in the first half. In the 31st minute, Jeong Seung-won’s cross found Patrik Klimala, whose shot was denied by the keeper.
Klimala had another opportunity from a corner, but his follow-up went wide and the teams went into the break scoreless.
Seoul opened the scoring early in the second half. In the seventh minute, Klimala’s direct free kick struck the post and Ross reacted quickest to tap the rebound into the net.
Jeju pushed for a response. In the 18th minute of the second half, Negeba beat defenders inside the box but chose to pass instead of shoot, and the chance disappeared.
Jeju drew level late. In the 43rd minute of the second half, Choi Byung-wook latched onto a pass from Gitis, surged down the right flank and curled a right-footed finish past the goalkeeper.
But Seoul had the final act. Deep into stoppage time, Song Min-gyu nodded a cross down and Lee Seung-mo met it with a header to produce a dramatic winner.
Jeju could not answer, and the match ended 2-1 in Seoul’s favor.
Meanwhile, Ulsan Hyundai came from behind to beat promoted side Bucheon FC1995 2-1.
Ulsan moved into sole possession of first place with two wins, no losses and a +3 goal differential. Bucheon, which had earlier beaten title contender Jeonbuk Hyundai and drawn with Daejeon Hana Citizen, saw its momentum stall and now sits fourth with one win, one draw and one loss (4 points).
Bucheon struck first in the eighth minute when Kim Min-jun opened the scoring, but Ulsan equalized in the 38th minute through Yago.
Ulsan sealed the victory in the 24th minute of the second half when Lee Dong-gyeong converted a penalty to make it 2-1.
