Celtic, with Yang Hyun-jun in the starting lineup, picked up a home win and kept their momentum going. Three straight league victories have them level on points with the leaders and have injected fresh life into their title chase.

Celtic defeated Falkirk 3-1 at home to extend their winning streak to three. They erased the points gap to the top and intensified the late-season scramble. While they remain second on goal difference, they’ve climbed into a position where a single result could flip the standings.

Yang Hyun-jun started on the left wing and logged just over 70 minutes before coming off midway through the second half. He didn’t register a goal or an assist, but his lively movement consistently created chances. Early in the second half he even appeared to score: he took a pass from midfield, cut into the box and fired; the goalkeeper pushed the shot away, and Yang headed the rebound into the net. The crowd erupted, but the play was ruled offside and the goal was disallowed. It was a frustrating moment, but it emphasized his sharp attacking instincts.

Daizen Maeda was at the center of the victory. He pressed the opposition defense early to force the opener, then delivered the precise pass that created the second. Late in the second half he added a killer third himself, finishing the match with two goals and an assist. He was involved in every Celtic goal.

Celtic conceded a late goal and wobbled briefly, but substitutions and tactical adjustments regained control. They added another strike to put the result beyond doubt. Better game management and clinical finishing made the difference.

Yang didn’t get on the scoresheet, but his threatening runs and proactive play left a strong impression. The team has three straight wins, the player showed his presence, and Celtic’s late-season fight looks set to get even fiercer.
