Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of U.S. President Donald Trump, attended a concert marking the release of Han Ji-hee’s debut album; Han is the wife of Shinsegae Group Chairman Chung Yong-jin.
Trump Jr. watched the performance at the \”Han Ji-hee Deutsche Grammophon Album Release Concert,\” held at Lotte Concert Hall in Jamsil, Seoul, at 7 p.m. on the 29th.
At the event, Trump Jr. greeted Chung with a brief hug. His partner, Venita Anderson, was also in attendance and exchanged greetings with the couple.
Chung and Trump Jr. have developed a close friendship. They first met at a media event in 2010. Trump Jr. traveled to South Korea three times in 2024 alone to meet Chung.
Their relationship drew renewed attention after President Trump returned to office. That December, Chung visited the U.S. and, among Korea’s political and business figures, was the first to meet Trump while he was president-elect. Chung later attended Trump’s inauguration earlier last year with his wife Han, and was invited to Mar-a-Lago, the president’s resort in Palm Beach.
