Ahead of the June 3 local elections, the Democratic Party’s Gyeonggi Provincial Committee announced the results of its 14th round of candidate screening.

On May 1, the committee said the review confirmed several uncontested nominations and finalized the list of candidates who will advance to primaries for both provincial and local council seats.
