Incheon Business High School Triumphs at 2026 National Handball Championships: Key Players Shine

Incheon Business High School claimed the girls’ high school crown at the 2026 Korea Handball Association President’s Cup National School Championships.

In the final, held April 29–May 8 at the Goseong County National Sports Center and indoor gymnasium in South Gyeongsang Province, Incheon Business edged Daegu Physical Education High School 35–31 to take the title.

Lee Sua led the charge with nine goals, while Shin Ye-won added seven. Lee Joo-eun, Bang Seo-yeon and Jo Min-jin chipped in five goals apiece, and Kim Gyu-bin and Lee Yeon-ju contributed two each. Jo Min-jin also paced the team with a tournament-high 10 assists; Kim had four, Lee Yeon-ju three, and Lee Joo-eun and Bang two assists apiece.

Lee Sua, the top scorer in the final, was named the girls’ high school division MVP.

Elsewhere at the tournament, Gwangju Hyodong Elementary took the girls’ elementary title, and Jincheon Sangsang Elementary won the boys’ elementary crown. Se-yeon Middle School captured the girls’ middle school division, while Daejeon Geulkkot Middle School claimed the boys’ middle title. Cheongju Technical High School emerged as the boys’ high school champion.

Coach Kim Jong-jun received the coaching award.

A total of 67 teams from across the country competed in the boys’ and girls’ elementary, middle and high school divisions.
