Incheon’s Ongjin County announced on the 16th that it will host the 13th Jangbongdo Cherry Blossom Festival on April 25.
Jangbongdo is about a 50-minute ferry ride from the Sammok Ferry Terminal in Jung-gu, Incheon.
It’s a quintessential spring escape: cherry trees line the shoreline, offering picture-perfect blooms against the vivid blue sea.
The festival’s main event is a 4 km cherry blossom walk. The walk begins at 11 a.m. at the Ongam Beach parking lot.
Registration is free and available on-site.
For more information about the festival, contact the Bukdo-myeon office.
A Bukdo-myeon official invited families, friends, and couples to join and make cherished memories among the beautiful cherry blossoms and ocean views.
