KG Mobility (hereafter referred to as KGM) announced on the 10th that it will launch the ‘2026 Lunar New Year Vehicle Inspection Service’ to help ensure customers’ safe travels as they return to their hometowns for the holiday.
This complimentary service will be available from the 11th to the 13th at 321 service centers nationwide, including the Gunpo Regional Service Center, and will cover all KGM models (excluding large commercial vehicles).
The comprehensive inspection includes key components such as batteries, engine oil and fluid leaks, coolant levels, lighting systems, climate control, brake and pad wear, tire condition and pressure, and heater and filter checks. These services are crucial for safe long-distance driving. As an added bonus, customers who complete the inspection will receive a complimentary washer fluid top-up.
For electric vehicle owners, KGM is offering a specialized ‘EV Safety Inspection Service’. This service goes beyond standard checks to include thorough examinations of the battery, heater cabin coolant, and drive motor coolant, ensuring optimal performance and safety for EV drivers.
Throughout the holiday period, KGM will maintain its emergency roadside assistance service. This ensures that customers experiencing vehicle breakdowns or accidents can receive prompt support from nearby service centers.
A KGM spokesperson emphasized, “Winter driving demands extra caution, including reduced speeds and increased following distances. The harsh weather conditions also necessitate more meticulous vehicle care and inspection. We strongly encourage our customers to visit our service centers before their holiday travels to address any potential issues related to temperature fluctuations or icy road conditions. By familiarizing themselves with winter driving techniques, we hope to contribute to safe and enjoyable hometown visits for all our customers.”
