Iksan City will expand the Osan-myeon Happy Call Bus service to make it easier for residents to reach the Mokcheon District Park Golf Course.
The Osan-myeon Happy Call Bus is a demand-responsive transport (DRT) service that links Osan-myeon with key hubs, including the bus terminal.
During weekday rush hours the service runs on fixed routes; at other times, riders can book trips through the call center (1533-3421), giving them more flexibility.
The route that serves the park golf course operates four times during peak periods: 7:00 a.m., 8:35 a.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:40 p.m.
Additional trips can be reserved by phone on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On weekends and public holidays, the service runs only on its scheduled routes.
Along with the timetable changes, the city extended some routes during certain hours from the produce and seafood wholesale market to the terminal to improve access for park golf visitors who use the terminal.
Detailed routes and schedules are posted on the city’s website bus timetable.
A city official said, “The Happy Call Bus makes it more convenient to get to the Mokcheon District Park Golf Course. We will continue to strengthen community-focused transportation services to improve residents’ mobility.”
