KG Mobility (formerly known as SsangYong Motor) has announced the launch of its 2026 Lunar New Year Vehicle Inspection Service. This initiative aims to ensure the safety of customers traveling home for the holiday season. The service will be available from February 11th to 13th at 321 service centers nationwide, including the Gunpo Regional Service Center. It covers all KG Mobility vehicle models, with the exception of large commercial vehicles.

The comprehensive inspection includes crucial components such as the battery, engine oil and fluid leak checks, coolant levels, lighting systems, climate control, brake and pad wear, tire condition and pressure, and heating systems. This thorough check-up is designed to promote safe long-distance travel. As an added bonus, customers who complete the inspection will receive a complimentary washer fluid refill.

For electric vehicle owners, KG Mobility is offering a specialized safety inspection. This service includes detailed examinations of the battery, heater cabin coolant, and drive motor coolant, ensuring optimal performance and safety for EV drivers.

To further support customers during the holiday period, KG Mobility will maintain a round-the-clock emergency roadside assistance service. In the event of a breakdown or accident, customers can quickly receive support from the nearest service center.

A spokesperson for KG Mobility emphasized the importance of winter vehicle maintenance, stating, “The cold weather and potential for snow during winter require extra attention to vehicle care and inspections. We strongly encourage our customers to visit our service centers before their holiday travels. Our technicians can identify and address any issues that might arise from temperature fluctuations or icy road conditions. We also recommend that drivers familiarize themselves with winter driving safety tips to ensure a joyful and secure journey to their hometowns.”
