Auto Rubys has released a new front grille called the “Suzu Light Grille” for the Suzuki Jimny under its custom parts brand “ARX”.
This product features a retro-modern design inspired by the front face of the iconic second-generation “Suzulight Carry” released in 1965.
Based in Iwami, Tottori Prefecture, Auto Rubys specializes in custom parts for the Jimny. Paying homage to the origins of Suzuki’s kei cars, they’ve revived the mesh grille of the second-generation Suzulight Carry for the modern Jimny.
The Suzu Light Grille adopts a classic mesh design with finely arranged fins, offering a retro charm that stands out from the recent trend of wild custom grilles. When installed, it creates a front face that blends nostalgia with contemporary style.
Compatible models include the current Jimny JB64, as well as the Jimny Sierra (JB74) and Jimny Nomad (JC74). Pricing is set at 49,500 JPY (331.65 USD) (including tax) for the unpainted version and 77,000 JPY (515.90 USD) (including tax) for the two-tone painted version, which is ready for immediate installation.
To coincide with its release, the Suzu Light Grille will be displayed on actual vehicles at the Auto Rubys booth during the Osaka Auto Messe 2026, held from February 13th to 15th in Osaka, allowing visitors to check its quality and fitment.
