Hyundai Mobis Tops 2026 Automotive Parts Brand Reputation Rankings: What It Means for EV and Hybrid Markets

Hyundai Mobis has solidified its market leadership in the automotive parts sector, claiming the top spot in brand reputation for February 2026 with overwhelming metrics. HL Mando and Hyundai Wia followed closely, cementing the ‘Big Three’ structure in the industry.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute conducted a big data analysis of 110 domestic automotive parts brands from January 9 to February 9. The analysis utilized 34,982,210 data points, a 36.21% increase from January’s 25,681,104, indicating heightened consumer interest and market activity in the automotive parts sector.

Hyundai Mobis topped the list with a brand reputation index of 9,425,532, up 40.77% from January’s 6,695,832. The company excelled across all metrics, particularly dominating the market index with 5,427,017, showcasing its industry leadership. Other metrics included a participation index of 234,780, media index of 1,139,734, communication index of 1,489,101, and community index of 1,134,900.

HL Mando secured second place with a brand reputation index of 2,346,342, up 43.41% from the previous month. Its metrics included a participation index of 225,170, media index of 824,577, communication index of 418,078, community index of 461,709, and market index of 416,808. Hyundai Wia claimed third with 1,703,800, boasting the highest growth rate of 57.16% among top-tier companies, signaling a sharp increase in market attention.

Hanon Systems and Hankook Tire & Technology rounded out the top five with indices of 1,380,698 and 1,324,132 respectively. Hanon Systems showed strong momentum with a 47.16% increase, while Hankook Tire maintained its position with a modest 7.92% rise.

The brand reputation index, which measures the impact of online consumer behavior on brand consumption, evaluates various factors including brand sentiment, media coverage, consumer engagement, social media presence, market performance, and corporate social responsibility. This analysis incorporated ESG indicators and owner risk data to enhance its qualitative assessment.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, highlighted the balanced growth across all metrics. The overall data volume increased by over 36%, with significant rises in brand consumption (43.10%), brand issues (31.99%), communication (54.88%), diffusion (54.33%), and market presence (18.60%). This trend indicates consumers are actively seeking and sharing information about automotive parts brands.

The February 2026 top 30 rankings also included Kumho Tire, Kyungdong Navien, SL, Mobis Electronics, Sambo Motors, DIC, Nexen Tire, Seongwoo Hi-Tech, Korea Connector, Sebang Battery, Motrex, Neo Auto, Hwasung, DN Automotive, Myungshin Industry, Seoyun I-Hwa, Kyungchang Industry, Dongwon Metal, SJG Sejong, Iljin High Solus, Dong-A Chemical, Ajin Industrial, Hyundai Industrial, Korea FT, and Mobis.

This monthly survey, based on data from January 9 to February 9, 2026, provides a comprehensive view of the domestic automotive parts industry’s brand landscape. The inclusion of mid-sized and smaller companies like Seojin Automotive, Neotis, and Younghwa Tech offers valuable insights for future marketing and brand strategies in the sector.
