KG Mobility (KGeneral Motors) announced on the 10th that it will launch the ‘2026 Lunar New Year Vehicle Inspection Service’ to help customers safely travel to their hometowns during the holiday season.

The service will be available from February 11th to 13th at 321 service centers nationwide, including the Gunpo Regional Service Center, covering all KGeneral Motors models (except large commercial vehicles).

The comprehensive inspection includes checks on batteries, engine oil and fluid leaks, coolant levels, lighting systems, climate control, brake and pad wear, tire condition and pressure, and heater and filter performance. These checks are crucial for safe long-distance driving. As an added bonus, customers will receive a complimentary washer fluid top-up after the inspection.

A spokesperson for KGeneral Motors emphasized, “Winter driving requires extra caution, including reduced speeds and increased following distances. The cold weather and potential for snow make thorough vehicle maintenance even more critical. We strongly encourage customers to visit our service centers before their trip home. Our technicians can address any issues related to temperature changes or icy road conditions, and provide essential safe driving tips to ensure a worry-free journey back to their hometowns.”
