Deepal, a subsidiary brand of Changan Automobile, is poised to introduce its large SUV, the G318, to international markets.
The Deepal G318 made its debut in China in 2024, with domestic sales kicking off that summer.

The Deepal G318 is a substantial crossover, measuring 5,010 mm long, 1,985 mm wide, and 1,895 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm.
While built on a unibody platform, the G318 embraces a boxy, traditional off-road SUV aesthetic.
The vehicle features roof-mounted auxiliary lights, prominent wheel arches, and robust body cladding. It boasts a ground clearance of 210 mm and comes equipped with adaptive cruise control and an adjustable air suspension system.

The G318 utilizes a sophisticated series hybrid powertrain.
A 1.5-liter gasoline engine, producing 150 horsepower, serves as an onboard generator, while electric motors handle the vehicle’s propulsion.
The all-wheel-drive system features electric motors on both front and rear axles, delivering a combined output of approximately 439 horsepower.
The G318 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and offers an impressive total range of over 1,000 km when utilizing both fuel and battery power.

Customers can choose between two battery options: 18.99 kWh or 35.07 kWh.
The Chinese-market model equipped with the larger battery pack can achieve up to 190 km of electric-only driving under the CLTC test cycle.
Pricing in China starts at 175,900 CNY (approximately 25,560 USD), which is about 37 million KRW (approximately 25,160 USD), representing exceptional value for a large SUV in this segment.
