A Jeju event is showcasing current and emerging drone, urban air mobility (UAM), and autonomous-driving technologies in a single venue, drawing industry attention.
The Jeju e-Mobility Expo Workshop Challenge, held alongside the 13th International e-Mobility Expo, offers companies a hands-on “see, hear, do” experience rather than a passive exhibition.
Organizers created the on-site workshop to link global e-mobility trends highlighted at CES in January with South Korea’s industrial sector. Experts and prominent YouTubers will guide participants through core next-generation mobility technologies—drones, UAM and autonomous driving—adding analysis of industry trends and commercial opportunities to deepen attendees’ understanding.
The program runs March 23–27 as a two-night, three-day workshop. Activities will be staged at Shinhwa Hall in the Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott and at industrial and cultural hubs across the island. Designed as a mobile workshop tied to local infrastructure rather than a static exhibit, the format enhances immersion. With companies attending as teams, the agenda emphasizes teamwork and organizational engagement.
The hands-on sessions, tailored to Jeju’s regional character, are designed to strengthen collaboration and communication among team members. The lineup includes a visit to the Aerospace Museum and a drone competition—opportunities to operate equipment, compete and gain direct practical experience rather than merely observe technology.
A workation program that blends productive work with downtime also stands out, giving companies a chance to combine training with employee rejuvenation.
