Hino Motors Sales Thailand, the Thai sales arm of Hino Motors, said on the 11th that Day Yingchol has assumed the presidency. He is the first Thai executive to lead the unit.
Day brings more than 35 years of experience in automotive sales and after‑sales service. He said he will place \”the customer’s voice\” at the center of strategy and steer the organization toward data‑driven decision‑making.
The company said it will prioritize strengthening its commercial truck business to align with the move to the European emissions standard Euro 5, and work with Thailand’s transport industry to create long‑term value and sustainable growth.
