MINI Korea has launched the MINI BEV Membership, allowing new-car buyers to test a battery-electric MINI at no charge for up to one week.
The program applies to customers who purchased a new MINI on or after the 1st. When buyers register their vehicle in the MINI Vantage mobile app, a membership voucher is issued automatically, and they can make one reservation within 90 days of purchase. The perk is intended to lower the barrier to experiencing electric driving firsthand.
The test vehicle will be the three-door All-Electric MINI Cooper SE.
The biggest benefit is cost: MINI Korea covers charging, tolls and insurance for the seven-day trial. Drivers remain responsible for the deductible in the event of an accident.
Vehicles are picked up and returned at the BMW Charging Hub Lounge in Jung-gu, Seoul, or at eight MINI showrooms nationwide. MINI Korea said the program supports its push to electrify the premium compact imported-car market through a broader EV lineup and customer-focused initiatives.
