BMW’s next-generation electric SUV, the iX3 50 xDrive, has completed South Korean certification and is preparing for launch.
The new iX3 is slated to arrive in South Korea in Q3 2026 and offers a combined driving range of 615 km (about 382 miles), strengthening its position in the market.
Pricing for the M Sport trim starts at 86.9 million KRW (about $58,223), positioning the model squarely in the premium electric SUV segment.

Performance significantly enhanced
The iX3 50 xDrive uses a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive layout with motors on both the front and rear axles.
It produces a combined peak output of 469 hp and 65.8 kg·m of torque (about 476 lb-ft), and accelerates from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 4.9 seconds.
Using sixth-generation eDrive technology, the vehicle adopts an 800V electrical architecture and supports up to 400 kW fast charging, markedly improving electrified performance.
Up to 805 km range
Large-capacity battery onboard
The new iX3 is equipped with a 113 kWh NCM battery pack.
It can achieve up to 805 km (about 500 miles) on the WLTP cycle, and South Korean certification indicates a real-world range above 600 km (roughly 373 miles).
That level of range reduces the burden of long-distance travel and is viewed as a meaningful improvement in EV day-to-day usability.
Interior innovation…
Panoramic display introduced
The cabin features BMW’s next-generation digital interface.
It features a ‘Panoramic Vision’ display that uses the lower windshield area alongside a 17.9-inch infotainment screen, significantly improving the user experience.
A new two-spoke steering wheel and a fixed panoramic sunroof complete the forward-looking interior layout.
Industry analysts say the iX3 will serve as a core model in BMW’s electrification strategy and a benchmark for the automaker’s future electric lineup.
