Leapmotor has officially launched its new electric SUV, the A10 (B03X).
The A10 begins at 65,800 yuan (about KRW 14,300,000 (about $9,581)), roughly $9,550 at current rates — a deliberately aggressive entry price intended to undercut rivals in the EV market.
After its debut at last year’s Guangzhou Auto Show, the model has entered production and is now on sale.

The A10’s standout attribute is its unusually high technology content for a budget-oriented model.
Some trims are equipped with lidar, and the car uses Qualcomm Incorporated 8295 and 8650 processors to drive advanced infotainment and driver-assistance systems.
Notably, the A10 offers full “parking-lot-to-parking-lot” assisted driving and includes navigation-based driving for both urban streets and highways — capabilities rarely found on low-cost EVs.
Up to 505 km range…practical for daily use

The A10 is offered with two battery packs (39.8 kWh and 53 kWh) and claims up to 505 km of range under the CLTC cycle (about 314 miles).
Its single electric motor produces up to 121 horsepower, providing adequate performance for everyday driving needs.
The A10 also supports fast charging, taking the battery from 30% to 80% in roughly 16 minutes, which improves real-world usability.

By pairing lidar and AI-driven systems with a long driving range while keeping the price sharply lower than many competitors, the A10’s core competitive edge is its “tech plus value” proposition.
With intense price competition already underway in China’s EV market, that strategy could have ripple effects beyond China’s borders.
Industry analysts suggest the Leapmotor A10 could reset expectations for what a low-cost electric vehicle can offer.
