Jaguar Land Rover Korea has introduced the Range Rover SV Black, the brand’s new flagship. The SV Black pairs 50 years of Range Rover heritage with a bespoke personalization strategy to redefine the benchmark for premium sport-utility vehicles.

Jaguar Land Rover Korea unveiled the Range Rover SV Black on April 2 at the Cheonil Automobile showroom in Gangnam, Seoul.

Offered as a limited SV model that combines the Land Rover flagship with the company’s bespoke build program, the Range Rover SV Black carries a sticker price of 356,970,000 KRW (about $267,728).

The powertrain uses an eight-cylinder gasoline engine with a mild-hybrid (MHEV) system. Output is rated at 615 hp and 76.5 kg·m of torque, delivering seriously strong performance. Top speed is 261 km/h, and the SV Black sprints from 0–100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.

“We cloaked the latest Range Rover in black to convey a sense of grandeur,” said Neil Mailing, global head of sales for Jaguar Land Rover SV Bespoke. “We intend to deliver a new expression of luxury to discerning customers in Korea.”

The exterior is finished in a dramatic Narvik gloss‑black. The front end features a gloss‑black mesh grille and matching gloss‑black hood lettering.

Along the sides, the Narvik gloss‑black treatment extends to forged 23‑inch wheels and gloss‑black brake calipers.

A black ceramic SV badge on the rear is another standout detail. Land Rover says producing the badge requires a precise, 10‑week process that underscores the model’s craftsmanship.

Inside, satin‑black trim and near‑aniline ebony leather create a restrained, luxurious ambiance. Seat uppers feature a graduated rectangular perforation pattern with embroidery. Single‑panel seat covers reduce visible stitching and seams for a cleaner, more refined look.

The gearshift is finished in satin‑black ceramic, and expanded moonlight‑chrome detailing adds a subtle sheen throughout the cabin.

Jaguar Land Rover Korea also opened the country’s first SV Bespoke Studio at its Gangnam showroom. The studio draws on Korean architectural themes, using graceful curves inspired by traditional eaves and rooflines, paired with restrained lighting and refined material textures.

The studio is the first in Korea to offer the full SV Bespoke service, the company’s top-tier personalization program.

The program offers a broad palette of materials and interior and exterior finish options.

Clients work with SV specialists through a seven-step build process covering color, theme, SV-exclusive options, materials, veneers, finishes, and bespoke personalization. The SV Bespoke match‑to‑sample paint service allows customers to specify virtually any exterior color.
