Translation result.The Seocho District Council has appointed members to its final accounts audit committee and begun a review of overall fiscal execution for the 2025 fiscal year.
On the 23rd, the council held an appointment ceremony and launched a seven-member audit committee composed of councilors and accounting and tax specialists. Councilor Kim Ji-hoon will serve as the committee chair.
The committee will spend about a month, through April 21, reviewing the settlement of revenues and expenditures to assess the appropriateness and efficiency of budget execution. Its findings will be compiled into an audit opinion and submitted to the relevant executing agencies.
The review is intended to evaluate the legality and procedural compliance of budget use and to identify measures to improve future fiscal management. The council says it will use the results as a basis for next year’s budget planning and financial operations.
